Objective

Build the initial landing page for WardrobeAI. This is Phase 0 — email capture, brand introduction, and social proof building. No product to sell yet. The goal is to validate demand and build a waitlist.

Landing Page Sections

Hero

  • Headline: "Clothes from real designers. Picked for you. On your budget."
  • Subhead: "WardrobeAI finds unique pieces from small businesses and boutique brands that fit your style, your body, and your life."
  • CTA: "Join the waitlist" (email capture)
  • Visual: Warm, lifestyle photography or illustration (not stock models)

How It Works (3 steps)

  1. "Tell us about you" — style interview, not a quiz
  2. "We pick your pieces" — from small designers, within your budget
  3. "Try at home, keep what you love" — free returns on the rest

What Makes Us Different

  • Small business first (not mass market)
  • Budget you choose ($100 or $250/month)
  • We learn what fits you (feedback that actually works)
  • Your hard lines, honored (no floral if you hate floral)

Pricing Preview

  • Essential: $100/mo, 3-5 pieces
  • Signature: $250/mo, 4-8 pieces
  • Custom: You decide
  • Shoes, bags, jewelry: add-ons

Designer Spotlight (placeholder)

  • "Every month, we feature the small businesses behind your clothes"
  • Placeholder for 2-3 designer stories (will fill with real vendors)

Waitlist Signup

  • Email + "Which tier interests you?" (Essential / Signature / Custom / Not sure)
  • "We're starting with a small group. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know when it's your turn."
  • Social links (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Email contact
  • Privacy policy placeholder

Technical Implementation

  • Static site on Storj (like speckl.scoble.me and scott.scoble.me)
  • Astro SSG (consistent with existing stack)
  • Email capture → stored in simple database or Google Sheet initially
  • Analytics: Umami tracking (already deployed)
  • Domain: wardrobeai.com (or whatever name we land on) → check availability

Copy Language Rules

  • Plain English only (80%+ comprehension)
  • No fashion jargon
  • Warm, friendly, confident tone
  • "You" not "our customers"
  • Short paragraphs, lots of whitespace
  • Mobile-first design

Deliverable

Landing page deployed at the chosen domain. Source in repo at site/. Astro SSG, responsive, fast.
