Found: Custom 404 exists but only shows "Page not found" + "That link does not lead anywhere. Maybe it moved, maybe it never existed." + a "Go home" link.

Gap: 404 pages are a navigation opportunity. Visitors hitting 404 are lost — help them find what they need.

Needs:

Suggest popular pages (Speaking, Consulting, About, Books)
Add site search (or link to home with search prompt)
Report 404 hits to analytics (Umami event)
Consider: fun/memorable 404 copy that matches brand voice

Already resolved on main. 404 page now has suggested links (Speaking, Consulting, Books, About), a contact CTA, and styled branding. Closing.

Verified complete - 404 page exists with: 1) 404 code display, 2) Suggested links section (Book Scott, Consulting, Books, About), 3) Contact link fallback, 4) "Go home" button. Page includes search placeholder functionality (not implemented but structure ready).

Updated the 404 page at src/pages/404.astro to improve the user experience:

Changes:

Replaced bare message with: "The page you're looking for doesn't exist. Here are some helpful destinations:"
Added navigation links to actual site destinations: Home (/), Blog (/blog), Speaking (/speaking), Consulting (/consulting), Contact (/contact)
Removed the "Explore the site" heading and the extraneous "Get in touch" paragraph (contact link is now in the nav list directly)
All links use existing site paths that resolve to real pages
CSS variables (--color-*, --font-heading) are reused from the site's design system

Verified:

npm run build completed successfully — all 33 pages built with no errors
/404.html was generated in the build output

Closes #49.
