Research SQLite's core subsystems for SpeckDL specification. Output: docs/db-sqlite-reference.md.

Covers: pager state machine (transaction lifecycle, journal modes), WAL concurrency model (frame writes, checkpoint, readers), VDBE bytecode engine (opcodes, registers, program counter), B-Tree structure (pages, splits, key ordering).

Part of Prove SQLite project (docs/PROVE-SQLITE-PLAN.md).
