google-vertex now lists the Claude models models.dev catalogs on Vertex's Anthropic Messages API. A thin wrapper reuses the Anthropic Messages implementation: it rewrites /v1/messages to the per-model streamRawPredict and rawPredict endpoints, moves the model into the URL, adds anthropic_version, and authenticates with an Application Default Credentials access token. google-auth-library becomes a direct dependency (already in the tree through @google/genai) and is stubbed for browser bundles.
