feat: add apps/p2 (imported from pi-private at 7dadff697)
...
p2 (Pi Mobile on Chord v2) moves from pi-private into pi as one commit. Root scripts that loop all workspaces
use --if-present; npm test, ./test.sh and the release script cover packages/* only (p2: cd apps/p2 && npm test);
sync-versions also updates apps' workspace pins.

feat(chord): Chord v2 is the package's root
...
src/next is src (the main export), src/next-node is src/node with short subpaths (/http, /workers, /plugins,
/plugins/runtime, /app, /surfaces, /web, /react, /tui, /tui/launcher); the foundations get /json and /watch;
Chord v1 moves to src/old (/old, /old/node) until p2 runs on v2; tests and docs move likewise (test/, docs/,
test/old, docs/old). Durable and env import the foundations from their subpaths.

feat(chord): Chord v2 in src/next, experimental and not exported yet

The next object runtime moves from the private repository into pi: src/next (contracts, hosts and
objects, documents, derives, links and relays, routines and jobs, the store) with its tests and
examples in test/next, src/next-node (Node compression), and its design in docs/next (design.md, the
decision log decisions.md, the slice plan slices.md, slice specs, books and benchmarks). AGENTS.md
gets its code style. Not exported: the API changes with every slice until it has an entry point.

feat(ai): refactor provider definitions ( #11368 )

This builds the model catalog from per-provider definitions and
models.dev v2 data.
It eplacer `generate-models.ts` with one `defineProvider()` file per
built-in provider, shared model-family rules (Claude, GPT, DeepSeek,
Kimi, Google), and source adapters. models.dev is read through its v2
API. Outputs and CLI flags are unchanged.

feat(coding-agent): remove npm shrinkwrap and recommend the managed installer
...
npm installs no longer pin transitive dependencies. Pinned installs come
from the pi.dev installer lockfile. pi update on global npm installs now
recommends migrating with the installer.

Resolves GHSA-8xcm-r25x-g524, GHSA-4cwx-7wf7-3272, GHSA-m8rv-5g2x-5cg5,
GHSA-jr45-8vmc-qm54, GHSA-v3r7-h72x-cjcm, and GHSA-rgw5-rvv9-x895.
undici 8.10.0 is blocked by the npm min-release-age gate; 8.9.0 is the
first fixed 8.x release. Reviewed undici 8.6.0-8.9.0 release notes
against http-dispatcher usage; no breaking changes. Adds an AGENTS.md
rule requiring changelog review for future undici updates.

- Tighten all sections (279 -> 159 lines) without dropping rules.
- Reorganize: git rules moved next to issues/PRs.
- Defer contributor gate details to CONTRIBUTING.md.
- Replace stale npx tsx test command with node (strip-only mode); add ./test.sh + e2e warning.
- Releasing: explicit WebAuthn briefing step, no bash timeout, stop on partial publish failure.
- Move LLM provider checklist to .pi/skills/add-llm-provider.md.
