BaseLayout.astro with: head (SEO meta, OG tags, canonical, Google Fonts EB Garamond), skip-to-content link, slot for page content
global.css with full cultivation aesthetic: colors (#4a4438, #2d2a24, #3d5a3e, #faf8f5, #f5f0e8, #c8952e), typography (EB Garamond headings, system sans body), spacing scale, responsive breakpoints (640/1024), focus styles, skip-nav styles
astro.config.mjs configured for static output
npm run build compiles cleanly

Verified complete - Astro scaffold + BaseLayout + global.css design system all present. Config: astro.config.mjs with Vite, TypeScript (tsconfig.json), and build process configured. BaseLayout.astro includes SEO, Nav, Footer, Umami analytics, and PWA setup. global.css contains complete design system with CSS variables for colors (brown, green, cream, amber), typography (EB Garamond), spacing, and responsive breakpoints.
